Harry Styles
Harry Edward Styles (born 1 February 1994) is an English singer and songwriter. His career in music began in 2010 as a single participant on the British music show The X Factor. After being eliminated after which he was invited back to join the boy band One Direction. It became one of the top-selling boy bands in history before ending their hiatus in 2016. Styles' self-titled solo album is out through Columbia Records in 2017. The album debuted as the top album in both the UK as well as the US and was among the best-selling albums during the year. In addition, the lead single, "Sign of the Times" is the highest-rated track on at the top of the UK Singles Chart. Styles' sophomore album, Fine Line (2019) it debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200 with the biggest ever first-week sales by an English male artist. It also is the most recent album included in the Rolling Stone's "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" in 2020. In the meantime, the US Billboard Hot 100 was followed by its fourth hit single "Watermelon Sugar". Styles' third album, Harry's House (2022) set records in several categories and was widely acclaimed, winning the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2023. The album's opening single, "As It Is" is the Billboard top-ranked song of the year. Styles was awarded numerous awards, including six Brit Awards and three Grammy Awards. He also was awarded the Ivor Novello Award as well as three American Music Awards. Film roles are Dunkirk (2017) The Dunkirk Movie, Don't Worry Darling and My Policeman (both 2022). His flamboyant fashion isn't solely a feature of his musical and acting. Styles was the first male to appear solo on the cover of Vogue.
