Jana Kramer is a country musician, actor and singer who rose to stardom on television when she was chosen to play Alex in One Tree Hill for the last three seasons. The show featured her in a number of episodes as a new country singer, which helped her debut album reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached the top ten spot. Her decade ended with appearances for Dancing with the Stars and on several television shows, as well as a series of non-album singles. Voices is a self-doubting record that was released in 2021. Growing up in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music. She would later make a record career, but she made her debut as an actor making her onscreen debut on the screen in the 2002 independent horror film Dead/Undead when she was still in her teens. Guest spots on shows such as All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the following years, until she was cast in the role in Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the series' second season, 2007-2008. Kramer was then on TV in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 between 2008 and 2009 and Brooke Manning in Entourage in the year 2009. The actress was added to the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she continued to appear until the end of the show in 2012, which was half way through. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her time in One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted the contemporary song "I Won't Give Up in a 2011 One Tree Hill episode. In 2012, it came out via Jana Kramer - her first album. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Kramer remained focused on her music career, but she also continued acting and starred in films that appealed her fans such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016. Kramer has released her second studio album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville, in October of 2015. I Got the Boy - the album was a Top Five Country hit - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer in a duet helped her album make it to the top ten of the Billboard 200. After a two-month stint during the 23rd Dancing with the Stars season the singer was ranked 4th. This was also the season that she scored an adult-contemporary success with her song Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
